As the summer ends the Nu-to-Yu would like to thank donors and volunteers alike for a very busy summer season at the store. The volume of donations has kept us hopping and are very much appreciated.
The autumn and winter months will see the return of 50% off on select items on Saturdays only starting in October. The Nu-To-Yu is now accepting winter clothing as well as Halloween items ( costumes, decorations). Christmas items will be accepted at the very end of October, preferably starting November first as storage in the store is limited. Please hold off on donating spring and summer clothing and shoes until after Christmas.
Unfortunately we have had to close both change rooms. Dress appropriately if you wish to try clothing on. Tank tops and leggings work well. We continue to be a cash only store and prefer bills to be in denominations of $20 or less. We do take cheques from full time on-island residents with a minimum purchase of $10.00. Cash back on cheques is not available and we will ask to see your driver’s licence. Finally, if you see an item with a “NEW” sticker on it, it means that the item is new to the store that week. It does not refer to the age of the item. These new stickers are usually on higher priced items and the sticker is removed if not sold that weekend.
