The Nu-To-Yu is currently open to customers on Fridays from 10am to 4pm. We do not take donations on Fridays / Saturdays. We attempt to be open one Saturday a month with the next Saturday being August 20, 2022.
Upstairs you will find clothing, books, household items, craft items, pictures, and toys. Downstairs in the front you will find marked down household items, sporting goods and DIY goods. Downstairs at the back are 25 cent t-shirts, furniture, rugs, and lamps.
Saturday July 30 is the annual silent auction from 11- 3pm at the Driftwood. Please see the previous post. The store will be closed on July 30th. A reminder that the many stores on Pender follow Public Health’s recommendations as it pertains to mitigating the spread of Covid-19. Nu-To-Yu is one of these stores. Masks are currently required for those aged 5 and up. We have a limited number of medical masks available for 50 cents if you do not have one. Our store is small and as a courtesy to others upstairs customers are limited to 15 minutes of shopping when there is a line up outside of the store. You are welcome to line up again. The line ups are usually short and quickly move along when customers are courteous. Take this time to get to know your fellow Penderite. If you are a visitor feel free to ask a local what there is to do on Pender.
Customers are encourage to bring their own bag to carry items home. Boxes are also available. We deal in cash, preferably in denominations less than $50.00.
