Being a small island with many mouths and twice as many ears, Nu-to-Yu’s donation days has been incorrectly “shared”. Hey, it happens.
There are now three donation days.
The days are Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 12pm. We are often open at 830am if you are on your way to catch the 925am summer ferry. We do close for donations fairly promptly at 12pm however. So make us first on your to-do list not last and avoid disappointment.
We have also recently added Saturdays as one of our days to donate. On Saturdays the hours are 11am to 2pm. We cannot accept large items on Saturdays, definitely no furniture on Saturdays. The volunteer is also working as a seller so please be patient with him or her.
Donations are limited to 2 bags or boxes per household per day. A bag is a half filled green garbage bag. The weight of a box should not exceed 10lbs.
