In the last few weeks Covid 19 has become an increased health concern for us all.
In keeping with public health’s recommendation to practice social distancing, Nu-to-Yu has made the healthy decision to remain closed until further notice. The building is simply too small to practice reliable, responsible, social distancing. In fact, for many of us a trip to Nu-to-Yu is a social visit! Coupled with our volunteers needing to work side by side to organize donations, I am sure we can all agree this difficult decision is the right decision.
Please do not drop off donations during this time period as the building will be completely shut during this time and volunteers will not be available to process your donations, which will languish in the rain outside.
We regret our decision will inconvenience many and disappoint even more. It is in the interest of the collective whole that we make this decision. After all, healthy decisions are the most difficult decisions.
