It seems we had an incident at the Nu-to-Yu this Friday that I want to talk about.
This was brought to our attention by a customer who said she wouldn’t shop at the store because this made her uncomfortable. Another customer came in without a mask and continued to shop without putting one on. I understand that the staff who were working were not wearing masks either. This is against our rules for shoppers and staff. Would you all please wear your masks when coming to the Nu-to-Yu. You will not be allowed in if you do not have one and will be barred from returning if you make an issue trying to come in without one. There are no exceptions to this mandate, unless there is a medical reason. This is what we put on our report for the BC Health notice that we had to complete to be able to open. Our staff have been told that masks are required and I hope this is the end of the issue. We don’t want to have the store closed down because of a few people who do not follow the rules. Thank you to all of you who follow the rules we really do appreciate it.
