The Pender Island Community Service Society – Nu To Yu – is very pleased to announce we have engaged a general contractor for the construction of our new community thrift store.
Davis Owen of Phoenix West Construction from Duncan will manage and oversee the construction of our new building. Davis will move to Pender for the 6 to 9 month construction period which will start in early 2026.
Preliminary foundation excavation will be completed this Summer.
Qualified local sub trades will be afforded opportunities to participate.
