Many of us at the Nu-to-Yu will remember Lisa Christensen. She was incredibly hard working and reliable. Whenever you caught her eye, she would break out into a smile and she always had something kind to say, ranging from “you look great today” all the way to “I love you.” Her kind and happy energy was contagious and we miss her very dearly.
We got a note from her Mum, Nora Paquette, recently via our Facebook platform. She sent along the above photo of a hanging lamp with the following note:
I made a promise to several of you, that I would send a picture of the lamp that Lisa gave me. She bought it several years ago, and she knew my love of this type of lamp Thank you for all the kind words and hugs in the last week. I will visit Pender one day and would love to see you all!
